crafting – Burbachulous

Hello, I’m Lisa Burbach, and I’m all about all things crafty, DIY, and hominess! I’ve recently had a shift in my career and activities, and have had more demand for crafted items. As a result, I’ve decided to dive in, go for it, and have fun! I’m glad you’re here. I look forward to spending time with you and learning new things.

This is the season of Advent, and one of my favorite things is Advent Calendars. This year, I’m using the Spellbinders Crafty Advent Calendar and the Stampin’ Up! 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar. Each day, I open the door and use the item as a prompt for a greeting card.

Here is what I have so far! Days 1-7

Spellbinders – Crafty Advent Calendar.

They are sold out of the Advent Calendar, but have many awesome Christmas dies and stamps. They are one of my favorite suppliers.

Tips: Use a piece of paper folded into a square as a mechanism for a pop-up card. Colored pencils work very well on darker paper, used on the mushrooms.

The 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar is, as of today, still available, and I tried to use current Stampin’ Up! items to complete the cards to make it easier to create your own.
